Merle Franklin CHUTE, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. CHUTE of 2545 McGowan Blvd., passed away at birth Wednesday morning, Feb. 15 in a Ceadar Rapids hospital.

Surviving in addition to his parents are four brothers and four sisters at home and his grandparents, Mrs. Nora CHUTE and Mrs. Genevieve CARLSON of Mason City.

Services: Graveside services were conducted at Elmwood Cemetery in Mason City on Thursday afternoon, by Rev. Paul McGUIRE. The baby was taken from the Murdoch chapel to the Hogan-McGee Colonial chapel in Mason City.
