Funeral services were held Wednesday in Redwood City, Calif., for Verle T. WHITE, 70, a native of Clear Lake who died in a Redwood City hospital after a lingering illness.

Services were held in the Redwood Chapel and burial was in Alta Mesa Memorial Park, Palo Alto, Calif. Coehlo, Lind, Roller & Hapgood, Funeral Directors, was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. WHITE, a heavy-equipment operator most of his life, attended Mason City schools and worked for State Brand Creamery, moving to Mason City in 1950.

He moved to Santa Cclara, Calif., five years ago after retiring as foreman of the Blas-Gurindo Ranch in Lancaster, Calif.

Survivors include his wife, Eva; a son, Raymond, Monroevilla, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley CLIFTON, Redwood City; two sisters, Mrs. Bonnie WALTERS, Mason City, and Mrs. Vivian MAXWELL, New Port Richie, Fla.; four brothers, Vernon, St. Paul, Minn.; Vincent, Hillsboro, Ore.; Frank, Forest Grove, Oreg., and Robin, Waterloo, along with five grandchildren.
