Services for Harry O. Kaler, 91, Tyler, are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Burkes-Walker-Tippit Funeral Home chapel, Tyler, with Ron Nutt and Norma Henderson officiating.
Additional services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Major-Erickson Funeral Home, Mason City, Iowa.
Burial will be in Memorial Park, Mason City, Iowa.
Mr. Kaler died Aug. 27 at his residence.
He was born July 9, 1908, in Fulton County, Ill. He moved from Mason City, Iowa, to Tyler in 1990. He was owner and operator of Kaler Freight Lines in Mason City, Iowa, until retiring. He was a Christian and preceded in death by his wife, Helen V. Kaler, in April 1999, brothers, Charles Kaler and Joe Kaler, and sister, Mary.
Survivors include son, Gerald Harry Kaler, Schofield, Wis.; daughter, Ruby Kaler Lawler, Tyler; brother, Floyd Kaler, Golen, N.M.; sisters, Helen Arvig, St. Paul, Minn., Pauline Steinbrecher, Motley, Minn., Berneice Muller, Thief River Falls, Minn., and Ruth Sandage, San Diego, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers are Blaine Slaughter, Jose Taramona and Chuck Lawler.
Family will receive friends 4:30- 7 p.m. before service at funeral home.
