Obituary - Bonnie Louise (Kimball) Edgar
October 8, 1930 ~ June 28, 2011

Bonnie Louise (KIMBALL) EDGAR, 80, of Clear Lake, Iowa died Tuesday June 28, 2011 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday July 1, 2011 at the Ward-Van Slyke Colonial Chapel, Clear Lake, Iowa with Rev. Dean HESS of Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake officiating. Family will greet friends one hour before the service. Inurnment will be in the Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, Iowa. Family suggests memorials to Bonnie L. EDGAR memorial fund.

Bonnie was born Oct. 8, 1930 in Clear Lake, Iowa the daughter of Floyd and Ruth (OLSON) KIMBALL. She graduated from Clear Lake High School in 1948.

Bonnie married Darrell EDGAR Sept 3, 1950 at Zion Lutheran Church, Clear Lake, Iowa.

Bonnie enjoyed bowling, reading, dancing, doing crossword puzzles, collecting swans, playing cards and scrabble. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and the family gets together on the Fourth of July. She loved her cat Shadow. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Bonnie is survived by her three daughters; Kathleen DaWALT, Shawano, Wisconsin, Debra BRYAN, Clear Lake, Iowa and Lauri (Leroy) THORSON, Lino Lake, Minnesota; eight grandchildren Kurt KIENAST, Heather SHEAHAN, Andrea PRIOLO, Angela (Mike) WORPLE, Travis THORSON, Ashley THORSON, Ryan DaWALT and Destry MANGAN; ten great-grandchildren Mackenzie SHEAHAN, Morgan SHEAHAN, Cory TRAINER jr., Thomas PRIOLO III, Logan PRIOLO, Tori THORSON, Kanen FINCH, Taylor DaWALT, Blake WORPLE and Christian WORPLE; sister Lola BARNES, Wheatridge, Colorado; brothers-in-law Wes (Myrna) EDGAR, Clear Lake, Iowa and Cle (Marleah) EDGAR, Green Valley, Arizona and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1973; sister Elaine BANNISTER; two sons-in-law Randy BRYAN and Mike DaWALT and brothers-in-law Wally EDGAR and Bob BARNES.
