Obituary - JoAnn (Esser) Davis

JoAnn DAVIS, 70, of 741 South Illinois Ave, Mason City, died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at the Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the Hogan Bremer Moore Colonial Chapel, 126-3rd Street NE, Mason City, with Reverend Kenneth GEHLING officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time on Wednesday at the chapel.

According to her wishes her body was cremated.

JoAnn DAVIS was born on December 22, 1936, in Rockford, Iowa, the daughter of Theodore and Lela (DUGAN) ESSER. She attended and received her education in the Charles City School system, graduating from Charles City High School.

Survivors include her children, Elaine (Richard) KOCKLER of Manly, Linda (Tim) LOHBERGER of Murfresboro, Tenn, and Tommy DAVIS of Jamestown, California, three grandchildren, Jeff (Jolene) KOCKLER of Northwood, Nick KNOCKLER of Manly, and Steffani (Jeff) SIMBRIC of Waterloo, four great-grandchildren, Kiley, Jacob, and Hailey KOCKLER all of Northwood, and Jordin Marie SIMBRIC of Waterloo, two brothers, Marvin (Betty) ESSER of Mason City, and Alan (Melanie) ESSER of Mankato, MN, a sister, Myrna JOUMAS of Clawson, MI, as well as other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
