MASON CITY -- Lifetime Mason City resident, Mrs. Roger (Marie A.) PITMAN, 69, formerly of 112 16th SE, died Thursday morning (Nov. 21, 1985) at a Mason City hospital.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Patterson James Funeral Chapel, 123 2nd SE. Her grandson, the Rev. David L. BIRCH, pastor of the First Christian Church, New Sharon, will officiate. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery.

Friends may call after 7 tonight until time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. PITMAN was born Dec. 13, 1915, in Rockwell to Border T. and Anna (BAHNSEN) NIELSEN. On Nov. 15, 1933, she married Roger L. PITMAN in Mason City. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Mason City, and WSCS.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. David (Joan) BIRCH, Minneapolis; a son, Dr. Richard PITMAN, Columbus, Ind.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and four sisters, Mrs. Paul (Alta) MATZEN, Ventura; Mrs. Ralph (Nellie) McLAUGHLIN, Mason City; Mrs. R. W. (Ruby) STRICKLAND, Fort Dodge; and Mrs. M. M. (Eleanor) GREEN, Renwick.
