F. W. Witte Service Held at Rockwell

Funeral services for F. W. (Bill) WITTE, 73, who died Friday [January 14, 1955], were held Sunday afternoon at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Rockwell. The Rev. O. W. IHNEN officiated.

Orville WITTE was the soloist, accompanied by Mrs. Max BOKMEYER at the organ. Mrs. Paul MEYER and Mrs. Chriss KRUCKENBERG were in charge of flowers.

Ushers were Harold LEMBKE, Charles HANSEN and Edwin BERGMAN.

Attending the services from out of town were Viola DITTBERNER, Minnie TUECHE, Hannah TUECHE and Mrs. H. C. LIEKIVEG, Sheffield; Mr. and Mrs. Virgil KROLL, Hampton; Mr. and Mrs. Alving JOHNANNENGMEIER, Monona; Mr. and Mrs. Ernest NIEHAUS, Guttenburg; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred BURGHARD, Sumner; Mr. and Mrs. Al MASER, Osterdock; Mr. and Mrs. Milton HAMMAN, McGregor; Mr. and Mrs. E. Pallbearers were Paul MEYER, Chriss KRUCKENBERG, Ed CALLAHAN, Francis CAHALAN, Russel REIMERS and Andy FINLAYSON. Car escorts were Gus LUTTMAN and Harry FATLAND. Interment was at the Rockwell Cemetery. The Patterson-James Funeral Home was in charge.

NOTE: Bill was born November 28, 1881, the son of William and Anna "Minnie" (OVERBECK) WITTE.
