Mrs. William Strickland rites held

The funeral for Mrs. William A. (Agnes Mae) STRICKLAND, 90, who died Saturday [December 10, 1966] at at the Rotary Ann Home in Eagle Grove, was held Monday afternoon at the Major Memorial Chapel. The Rev. Harold DOWLER, pastor of the First Christian Church, officiate.

Mr. STRICKLAND was born May 16, 1876, in Lincoln Township, daughter of David and Elizabeth (PEDELTY) BRYSON. She was married to William A. STRICKLAND, in February 1904, in Mason City. She had lived throughout her life in the Mason City community until moving to Eagle Grove three years ago.

Surviving are a son, R. W. STRICKLAND, Fort Dodge; a granddaughter, Mrs. R. E. DOUGLAS, Cedar Rapids; grandson, Gary W. STRICKLAND, in military service in Germany; four great-grandchildren, and a sister, Miss Lois BRYSON, Eagle Grove.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1915 and by two brothers and two sisters.

Mrs. STRICKLAND was a member of the First Christian Church. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery.
