Services to Be at Church on TuesdayMrs. Al (Blanche) KIRBY, 65, died suddenly at her home, 213 27th S.W. [Mason City], Thursday evening [June 3, 1951], following a heart attack, according to Dr. R. E. SMILEY, coroner.
She was found Friday when a neighbor noticed no one about the home. Her husband, an employee of the Milwaukee Road, was on his run.
Mrs. KIRBY was born at Monona, Iowa, Oct. 14, 1886 [daughter of Charles & Christiana (PETERSON) ANDERSON]. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic church, the Catholic Daughters of America, the St. Joseph's Tabernacle Society, the Auxiliary of Brotherhood of Locomotive Trainmen and the Royal Neighbors of America.
Surviving are her husband, Al KIRBY, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie ALNBOLT, Sovereign, Wis. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Carl, and a son in infancy.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic church, with Father William ARQUITT oficiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery.
The Rosary will be said at the Colonial chapel at 8 p.m. Sunday and the parish Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Monday. The Colonial funeral home is in charge of services.
