Obituary - Clifford Duane Christensen

CHARLES CITY -- Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the First Methodist Church for Clifford Duane CHRISTENSEN, 40, a resident of Charles City for the past five years. Burial is planned in the Elmwood Cemetery, Mason City. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside. The Hage Funeral Home is in charge.

Mr. CHRISTENSEN was found dead at his home Friday afternoon [January 26, 1968]. He was born in Mason City on Oct. 29, 1927 [son of Clifford & Wava L. (PINE) CHRISTENSEN]. On Feb. 6, 1949, he was married to Joyce CORDLE. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife Joyce; one daughter, Becky, currently stationed at the Shepherd Air Force Base, Wichita Falls, Tex.; two sons, Randy and Lance, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford CHRISTENSEN, Mason City; one brother, Ken CHRISTENSEN, serving aboard ship in the Mediterranean; two sisters, Mr. Lynn OLSON and Mrs. Richard BERGAN.
