C. H. Behr Rites to be Thursday

Charles H. BEHR, 84, retired farmer of Rockwell, died Tuesday afternoon at a Mason City hospital. He was a lifelong resident and pioneer farmer of the Rockwell community, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Rockwell.

Mr. BEHR was born April 25, 1875, at Rockwell, son of Chrles and Barbara (CONRAD) BEHR.

Surviving are two sons, LeRoy (Scoop) BEHR, Rockwell, and Charles J. (Ted) BEHR, Mason City; a daughter, Mrs. George (Rilla) HAWKINS, Mason City; a sister, Mrs. P. J. (Margret) SCHOLL, Rockwell; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Oct. 16, 1952.

Requiem high Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rockwell. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at Rockwell. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Patterson-James Rockwell Chapel.
