MASON CITY — Mrs. Clifford (Anna M.) Baumgartner, 86, 2603 S. Monroe, died Monday (May 27, 1985) at a Mason City nursing home.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania, with the Rev. Murley A. Severtson, visitation pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery here.
She was born Feb. 1, 1897 at Ogden, the daughter of Iver and Caroline (Iverson) Christensen. She moved with her family to rural Forest City at an early age. On Dec. 15, 1915, she was married to Clifford Baumgartner at Miller. In 1917 they moved to Mason City where she had lived since. Mr. Baumgartner died in 1939. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City.
Visitation will be at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 209 2nd NE, from 1:30 p.m. Thursday until noon Friday. The family requests memorials be given to the Anna M. Baumgartner Memorial Fund.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (LaVaun) Pickney, Hayward, Calif.; Mrs. Henry (Anita B.) Legler, Mason City, and Mrs. James (Marilyn) Olson, Wesley: one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Valeta) Garms, Mason City; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
