Life Long Swaledale Resident Passes Away
Mrs. Harvey Polsdofer, wife of Harvey Polsdofer of Swaledale passed away Tuesday morning in a Mason City hospital after a short illness.
Mrs. Polsdofer was born April 28, 1895 in Swaledale. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hannah. She was married to Harvey F. Polsdofer on November 30, 1915. Mrs. Polsdofer was a life long resident of Swaledale.
She is survived by her husband, Harvey, two sons, Charles of Mason City and James of Rockwell; one sister, Mrs. Charles Crabb of Clear Lake; and a brother, Andrew Hannah of Swaledale. She is also survived by six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon at the Methodist church in Swaledale. Prayer Services were held at 11 a.m.
Burial was at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Swaledale. Wartnaby-Grarup Funeral Home of Thornton in charge.
