Mrs. Moroney Services Held; Rites Conducted at Swaledale Church;
Funeral services for Mrs. Ed (Anna) C. Moroney, 65, Swaledale, who died at a Mason City hospital late Wednesday following an illness, were held Saturday at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Swaledale.
Requiem High Mass was celebrated by Father Nestor Goedken. Present in the Sanctuary wee Father Francis Churchill of Van Horn.
Crossbearer was James Walch; alter boys, George Gish and Larry Mason. Members of the St. Joseph School Choir were Mickey Dunn, Raymond Garcia an Charlie Clapsaddle.
Kathleen Herman was the organist.
Attending the services from out of the city were Mrs. Robert Brown, Mrs. Greg Myers, Henry Myers and Mrs. Peter Schmidt and Darwin, of Dell Rapids, S. D.; Mr. and Mrs. John Coughlin, and John Jr., Mrs. Joe McDonald and Mrs. Annie Flynn, Sioux Falls, S.D.
Mrs. John McNulty, and son, Dennis, Manly; Mrs. Thomas Loving, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. B. R Dunn and family, and Miss Dorothy Ann and Ted Dunn, Mason City; Mr. and Mrs John Greenwood, and daughter, Zearing.
Mr. and Mrs. Clem Moonen, Ft. Dodge; Marie and Franklin Moonen, Charles City; Mr. and Mrs Noel Montgomery, Nora Spring; Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Dunn and family, Alta Vista; Miss Sunny Clemens, and Miss Martha Jindrich, Elkader; Mary Margaret Jindrich, Mason City; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrene Turner, Somers; and Mr. and Mrs Carl Larsen, Clear Lake.
Mr. and Mrs. John Reardon and family, Mason City; Mr. and MRs. Pallbearers were Floyd Bentz, Carl Leinhass, George Mantz, John McLaughlin, Earl Enabnit and Leo Eddy. Usher was Ed Downing. Interment was at St. Jospeh’s Catholic Cemetery, Mason City. The Colonial Funeral Home was in charge.
