Fred Colloton Dies Suddenly; Former Mason City grocer succumbs at home in Los Angeles;
New of the death of Fred Colloton at his home in Los Angesles, on Christmas Day was received here Monday by his niece, Miss Dorothy Colloton. He died after an illness of only five days.
He is remembered in Mason City as partner for many years in a grocery store with his brother, John Colloton. He has lived in California for about 15 years.
Mason City survivors include a brother, Charles; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Julia Murray, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock in Los Angeles.
