Mrs. Mullany, 35, Dies Here; Funeral Rites to be held at Sacred Heart church in Rockwell;
Mrs. Leon Mullany, 35, Rockwell, died at a Mason City hospital about 6 o’clock Saturday evening following an illness of about six days.
Mrs. Mullany, nee Mary Martha Cahalan, was born Oct. 16, 1903, in Dougherty township. She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Margaret Deloris Mullany, 6, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel M. Cahalan, Rockwell.
Two brothers, Francis Cahalan, Dougherty, and Emmet Cahalan, Rockwell and three sisters, Mrs. Clyde Corbit, Cassatolis, Mich., and Mrs. Sherman Swenson, Swaledale, and Mrs. S. J. Hickey, Mason City, also survive.
Funeral services will be held at the Sacred Heart church in Rockwell at 9:30 o’clock Tuedsay morning, with Father Ormsby in charge. Burial will be at the Rockwell cemetery. The body was taken to the Patterson funeral home.
