"Orville H. Goodlilng, 88, of Huxley, Iowa, died of a heart ailment Monday July 28, 1997. Memorial services were held Wednesday, July 30 at Highland Park Presbyterian Church in Des Moines, Iowa, of which he was a memter. The body was cremated. Burial will be in Ventura, Iowa at a later date.
Mr. Goodling, a native of Ventura, had lived in Des Moines most of his life and then at Lake Panorama before moving to Huxley two years ago. He was a retired Montgomery Ward salesman, an Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; a daughter, Susan Wallce, Huxley; a sister, Frances Pearson, Ventura; a brother, Shirley, of Big Fork, Minn. and a grandchild."
