C. N. Clausen; Sunday morning at 2:30 o'clock C. N. Clausen passed away at his home on the corner of Jefferson and Fifth streets, after a little over a week's illness, a ge 48 years and 8 days. He had an attack of influenza which brought on a recurrence of kidney trouble. For man(y) years Mr. Clausen was a drug salesman until his purchase of a drug store at Ventura last fall. With his family he resided in Clear Lake for many years prior to their moving to Cedar Falls and Des Moines. They returned to Clear Lake a few months ago, making their home here, expecting in a short time to take up permanant residence in Ventura. A wife, two son, Hoger and Merrill, two daughters, Henrietta and Christiana survive him. Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 9, at one o'clock at the U.B. church, Rev. J. W Petersen, officiating, interment in the Ventura cemetery
