MASON CITY- Rosella "Rosie" Tietjen, 80, of 408 Fifth St. N.W., died Saturday (Dec,. 19, 1987) at a Mason City hospital.

Mass of the Resurrection will be at noon Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 302 Fifth St. S.E. with the Rev. Daniel Keppler offficiating.
Burial will be in Rock Grove Cemetery, Nora Springs.

Visitation will be after 2 this afternoon with a Scriptural rosary at 7 p.m. at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E.

The family requests memorials be given to the Rose Tietjens Memorial Fund.

She was born July 19,1907, in Alta Vista, the daughter of August and Mary (Erion) Bandle.

She graduated from New Hampton High School.

She was married to Wilbur Teitjen who preceded her in death.

She worked for the Moose Lodge in Mason City for many years before retiring.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Women of the Moose, Rebekah Lodge, Eagles Lodge 2416, and Grandmothers club.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Pence of Mason City; three grandchildren and four great- grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a sister,
