Vivian Morris
Vivian Loranie Morris, 75, of Mason City, died Monday, September 25, 2000 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit in Mason City.
Memorial services were held September 28 at the Wesley United Methodist Church, Mason City. Inurnment was in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City. Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, Mason City was in charge of arrangements.
Vivian Loriane Morris was born on June 9, 1925, in Monroe, Wis., the daughter of Lawrence Harold and Anna Elizabeth (Schatzman) Rish. She received her education in the rural county schools in Cerro Gordo County. She was united in marriage to Robert Arlin Morris on May 2, 1943, in Bethany, Mo. He preceded her in death on February 11, 2000.
After their marriage she worked as a seamstress for Harriet Walker in the drapery business in Mason City for several years. In 1949 the family moved from Nora Springs to Mason City.
Survivors include two daughters, Dianne Jarosh and her husband, Charles, of Mason City and Sharon Gatenby and her husband, John, of Fort Collins, Colo.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
