Dougherty Woman Died
In Chicago Home;
Was Born in Ireland

DOUGHERTY – Funeral services will be held Monday in Chicago for Mrs. Mary Ormsby, 85, who died Friday (1 December 1939) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. T. M. Garvin, in Chicago.

Born in Ireland she came to the United States when five years old and spent most of her life at Dougherty. About 18 years ago she moved with her husband to Chicago.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons and a daughter. Surviving are two sons, George of Mead, Washington, and Robert of Dougherty; two daughters, Mrs. John Mullen of Dougherty and Mrs. Garvin of Chicago.
