Charles Conroy, fomerly of Logan county, died Friday morning in his home in Ventura, Ia., according to a message which came to his sister, Mrs. R. G. Shyer. The body will be brought to Decatur and taken to the undertaking rooms of J. J. Moran & Sons.
Charles Conroy was born Sept. 8, 1887 in Cornland, Logan county. He leaves his wife and the following named children: Loren Conroy of Chicago; Leonard, Wilbur and Robert, all at home, his sisters, Mrs. R. G. Shyer of Decatur, Mrs. J. H. Gassaway of Michigan and his father William Conroy of Xenia. He was a member of the Catholic church of Mason City, Ia.
NOTE: Charles J. Conroy married 8 Sept 1909, Logan Co. IL Anna Phoebe Leonard, daughter of John and Nancy Jane (Thomas) Leonard.
