MASON CITY – Mrs. Edward A. (Lovie G.) Heizelman, 62, of 933 N. Polk Ave., died Wednesday (Oct 11, 1989) at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Mason City, of natural causes.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City.

Visitation is from 2:30 to 9 p.m. today at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 209 Second St. N.E.

The family requests memorials be given to the Lovie G. Heizelman Memorial Fund.

She was born May 10, 1927, in Worth County, a daughter of William and Lila (Christansen) Anderson. She graduated from Northwood High School in 1945. After graduation she worked as a typist at Wilson and Company, Albert Lea, Minn.

She married Edward A. Heizelman on Nov. 28, 1946, in Mason City. She also worked as a typist for Jacob E. Decker and Sons, Mason City. She enjoyed antiques, music and flowers. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. David (Dixie) Brinkman, Greene; two sons, Dennis E. and Jerry D., both of Mason City; one sister, Wilma Bendickson, Woden; two brothers, Cecil Reyerson, Northwood, and Wally Anderson, Des Moines; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
