Son of Mr. and Mrs. Shunkwiler is Dead; Rites to Be Saturday

Floyd William Shunkwiler, Jr., 10 years of age, died Wednesday night at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd W. Shunkwiler, 1104 Georgia Avenue northeast. He had been in poor health for the past four years and recently submitted to an operation for the removal of a tumor near his heart.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Patterson funeral home. The Rev. G. H. Kohler, pastor of the Zion Methodist church, will be in charge. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Floyd was born June 14, 1920, at Galt. He is survived by his parents and three brothers, Keith, 7 years of age, Lyle, 5 years of age, and Wayne, 2 years of age.
