MARGARET "MAGGIE" MULLER, 101,
DOUGHERTY, diesDOUGHERTY- A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Dougherty, for Margaret A. "Maggie" Mullen, 101, who died Thursday (May 12, 1988) at a Mason City nursing home.
The Rev. Linus Rasing will officate and burial will be in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Dougherty.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at St. Patrick's School Chapel, Dougherty, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight.
Mrs. Mullen was born Oct. 20, 1886, in Argyle, Wis. to John and Mary (McCue) Mullen. She attended St. Patrick's School, Dougherty. She was a lifetime resident of Dougherty and for many years worked as a clerk at Mullen and Sons General Store in Dougherty.
She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Catholic ladies auxiliary of the church.
Survivors include two nieces, Romana Campbell and Lorena Murphy, both of Doughterty, one nephew, Leo M. Mullen, Kansas City, Kan., and several great nices and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E. is in charge of arrangements.
