NUPTIAL VOWS SPOKEN

Miss Patricia DOUGHERTY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick DOUGHERTY of Dougherty, and Edward SCHOLL, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph SCHOLL of Rockwell, were married at the Holy Family church were the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Arthur J. BREEN read the double ring ceremony. The Rt. Rev [illegible] of Rockwell was in the sanctuary and acolytes were Richard FITZGERALD and Edward CAHILL of Dougherty. The Rev. John REED, organist, provided nuptial music.

Mrs. Ed STANGER, sister of the bridegroom, was matron of honor and James DOUGHERTY of Dougherty, brother of the bride, was bestman. Ushers were Leo McLAUGHLIN and J. B. McGAHERAN of Rockwell.

The bride was attired in a navy blue suit and her accessories were white. Her pearls were a gift from the bridegroom and she had a corsage of red roses. Mrs. STANGLER wore a grey dress with black accessories and a corsage of pink roses.

The bride's mother was attired in navy blue and the bridegroom's mother in a navy print. Both had corsages of pink carnations.

A wedding breakfast was served in the Flamingo room of the Hotel Hanford for relatives and friends. The 5-tier wedding cake was topped by a miniature horseshoe and bell.

After a wedding trip, the couple will be at home in Rockwell where he is employed at the Reliable Implement Co. He served 4 years in the European theater (WWII) and the bride, a graduate of St. Patrick's academy, Dougherty, has been employed at Mercy hospital.

Out of town guests at the ceremony were the bridegroom's brother-in-law and twin sister, Mr. and Mrs. Simon [Ethel] ACKERMAN of Caseville, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Tom KEEFE, Charles City, and relatives and friends from Rockwell and Dougherty.

Prenutial entertaining for the bride included a miscellaneous shower at the home of Mrs. W. A. BERRY, with assisting hostesses, Mrs. Jimmy COYLE, Mrs. Vic COYLE and Mrs. Paul KELSH.
