NUPTIAL VOWS EXCHANGED

ROCKWELL -- The marriage of Miss Johanna KOENEN, daughter of Mrs. H. KOENEN of Latimer, and Oscar C. HEAFORD, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. HEAFORD of Rockwell, took place June 15 [1938] at the Little Brown church at Nashua, the ceremony being performed by the Rev. William F. ENGELKE of Lawler, who also officiated at the marriage of the bridegroom's parents 29 years ago.

The bridal pair was accompanied by Miss Edith HEAFORD, sister of the bridegroom, and Henry KOENEN, brother of the bride. The bride is a graduate of the Chapin school, attending college at Pella, and later taught. The bridegroom is a graduate of the Rockwell high school.

Following the ceremony a picnic dinner was served on the church grounds attended by members of the bridal party, Mr. and Mrs. ENGELKE of Lawler, and Rockwell guests.
