GETS COMMISSION

Roger H. Blewett received his silver pilot wings and was commissioned a 2nd lieutenant in the army air forces and is at a B-17 transitional school at Columbus, Ohio. He is the son of Mrs. and Mrs. Hartley Blewett of near Charles City. He attended Mason City junior college before entering the service in March 1943, and received his training with the Eastern Flying Training Command in Florida, South Carolina, Georgia and Indiana.
