Graveside services for Milton Henderson, 84, former Tipton resident, will be held at Red Oak cemetery at a later date. Mr. Henderson died at a Knoxville hospital April 4. Prior to that he had been in a Knoxville nursing home. His body has been cremated.
The son of John and Loma Franklin Henderson, he was born in Fairfield township Aug. 1, 1903.
He spent most of his life in Cedar county and was a projectionist at the Hardacre Theatre for many years. He also did the first microfilming of Cedar county records from 1964 to 1967.
He is survived by a sister, Edith Eden, DeWitt and a nephew, Doug Henderson, Marion. He was preceded in death by a sister and 2 brothers.
