Funeral services for Mrs. Clare (Lillian M.) Frederick, 92, were held at the Sheets & Son Funeral Home Jan. 23 with Hugh Stumbo conducting the services. Burial was in Shawver cemetery at Cedar Bluff. Pallbearers were Gale, Donald, Ellis, Edwin, James and Clarence Frederick, Jr.

Mrs. Frederick died at her home in Cedar Bluff Jan. 20.

The daughter of George F. and Finetta Schley Miller, she was born at Tipton Oct. 17, 1895 and was married to Clare L. Frederick at Cedar Rapids Aug. 16, 1916. She was a former resident of Tipton and Iowa City, moving to Cedar Bluff in 1968.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Odete) Williams, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Larry (Darlene) Zenishek, Tracy, Calif. and Mrs. William (Norma) Livezey, Petersburg, Ill.; 6 sons, Gale, Clarence Jr., Donald and Ellis, Tipton; Edwin, South English and James, Springville; 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Grace Schumacher, Tipton and Blanche Boisselier, Streamwood, Ill. and 2 brothers, Everett Miller, Tipton and Virgil Miller, Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her husband and a son.
