Funeral services for Stella M. Danly, 74, Mechanicsville, were held Aug. 29, 1987 at Horner's in Mechanicsville, with burial in the Rose Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Danly died Aug. 26 at the Living Center in Cedar Rapids following a long illness.

She is survived by 6 sons, John Payton, Corpus Christi, Texas; Woodrow Payton and Wayne Payton, both of Ft. Smith, Ark.; Marion Payton, Anamosa, James Payton, Tipton and Louis Payton, St. Joseph, Mo.; 2 daughters, Lois Colvin, Newell and Pauline Hansen, Mechanicsville; 2 stepsons, James Danly, Jr., Mechanicsville and Richard Danly, Cedar Rapids; 2 stepdaughters, Marianne Dvorak, Mechanicsville and Betty Conrad, Glenhaven, Calif.; a brother, William Bemrose, Sabula; 4 sisters, Luella DeWitt, Sabula; Lyda Eacker, Clinton; Ollie Powers, Manchester and Charlotte Matthieson, Manchester; 44 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
