Funeral services for Kenneth Leroy Pace, 64, Tipton, were held Aug. 10, 1987 at the First United Methodist church in Tipton with the Rev. Susan Detwiler officiating. Sylvia Gould was the organist and Jane Osborn was the vocalist. Pallbearers were Glen Pace, Gene Pace, Bruce Wentzel, David Orr and Dan Burns. Honorary pallbearers were Gary, Jim and Randy Boysel, David and Alan Orr, Dick Orr, Dan and Brian Burns, Larry and Steve Orr, Chip Borgstadt, Rod Creque and Keith Wentzel. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.
Mr. Pace died Aug. 6 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton following an extended illness.
Mr. Pace was a DX tank wagon owner and operator and a school bus driver. He was a lifetime resident of Cedar and Muscatine counties and a member of the Muscatine Moose Lodge, Cedar Lodge AF and AM and the United Methodist church.
He is survived by a son, Mike, Tipton; his mother, Florence, Tipton; 3 sisters, Mrs. Harold (Waunita) Wentzel and Mrs. Bob (Delores) Creque, both of Tipton and Mrs. Leonard (Verlee) Bromell, West Liberty and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife.
