Funeral services for Thomas M. Proctor, 85, Wilton and formerly of Lime City, will be held today, June 17, 1987 at 2 p.m. at the Lacock Funeral Home in Wilton with the Rev. Paul Pennington officiating. The organist will be Kathy Luethye. Burial will be in the Lime City cemetery.

Mr. Proctor died June 15 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton.

He was born April 28, 1902 to J. E. and Ammittie Franklin Proctor Sr. He married Bertha Ford Sept. 19, 1923 in Tipton. She died Jan. 25, 1985.

Mr. Proctor was a maintenance man for the street departments in both Wilton and Durant, and had driven a road maintainer truck for many years for Cedar county.

He is survived by 6 daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Mary) Benninger, Muskegan, Mich.; Mrs. Grant (Darlene) Stender, Mrs. Melvin (Bonnie) Hunter and Mrs. Ivan (Linda) Martin, all of Muscatine; Mrs. Clifford (Doris) Smith, Wilton and Mrs. Gerald (Alice) Burr, Lone Tree; 3 sons, Donald and Lester, both of Tipton and Alva, Moscow; 34 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
