Funeral services for Helen M. Shuger, 92, will be held at the Lacock Funeral Home, Wilton at 10 a.m. Friday, May 22. The Rev. Paul Pennington will officiate. There is no visitation. The body has been donated to medical research at the University of Iowa.

She died at the Bethesda Care center, Muscatine, May 17.

The daughter of Cyrus and Annie Allen Shuger, she was born at Wilton Nov. 3, 1894. She spent her life in the Wilton community.

She was a charter member of the Wilton American Legion auxiliary, a volunteer at Veterans Administration hospital, Iowa City and a member of the Wilton United Methodist church. She had worked as secretary to the late Atty. E. W. Mead in Wilton.

She is survived by nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers.
