Arnold H. Lage, 79, died June 1 at the Davenport Medical Center, Davenport.

Services were held June 4 at the Holy Family Catholic church, Davenport. The Rev. Edward J. Leahy officiated. Pallbearers were Eugene Ehrecke, Kenneth Ehrecke, Harvey Daufeldt, Robert Einfeldt, Vincent Angerer, Donald Angerer, Everett Springmeier and Dallas Lage. Honorary pallbearers were Carl Ploen, Fred Edler, Harold Schuett, Albert Glaeser and Edwin "Bud" Doran. Burial was in the Mount Calvary Catholic cemetery, Davenport.

Memorials may be made to the Durant Ambulance fund.

Mr. Lage was born Aug. 1, 1905, in Cedar county, son of Henry and Anna Buck Lage. He married Helen Springmeier, Oct 7, 1929, at Princeton, Ill. He had retired from farming in 1957.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Kenneth Lage, Wilton; and Gerald Lage, Durant; two sisters, Martha Westphal, Minneapolis and Mrs. Elmer (Evelyn) Arp, San Antonio, Texas; two brothers, Reinhardt Lage, Blue Grass and Harry Lage, Davenport and a great-grandson.

Three sisters preceded him in death.
