Last rites for Kenneth W. Morehead, 79, retired insurance and real estate salesman, were held at the Clarence Methodist church June 4 with the Rev. Stephanie Raphael-Nakos officiating. Burial was in the Clarence cemetery.

Pallbearers were Marvin and Roscoe Schilling, Howard McClellan, Edwin Decker, Frank Fisher Jr. and John Stock. Honorary pallbearers were Henry Feddersen and Dr. H. A. Bouschlicher. Mrs. Al Cooperider was organist and the mixed choir sang.

Mr. Morehead died at Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, June 1. He was born Feb. 1, 1906 in Cedar Rapids to C. E. and Mary Morehead.

He was married to Ella Stuit in 1949. She died in 1977. He married Ruth Pruess in Houston, Texas in April. He was a WWII veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Clarence American Legion.

Mr. Morehead is survived by his wife; a stepson, John Koppenhaver, Houston, Texas and a step-granddaughter.
