Funeral services for Mrs. Raymond (Dorothy) Dahms, 72, were held at the Sweetland United Methodist church May 25 with the Rev. Leland Eyres officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery. Pallbearers were Leroy Meyer, Emil Reese, Verle Sywassink, Jerry Kretschmar, Robert Martz and Wayne Reed.

Mrs. Dahms died at Muscatine General hospital May 21.

The daughter of Gus and Mary Thede Gruemmer, she was born in Cedar county Feb. 5, 1913. She was married to Raymond Dahms in Davenport Dec. 22, 1934.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Dean Dahms, Muscatine; a sister, Augusta Petersen, Muscatine and a grandson. She was preceded in death by a brother and a granddaughter.
