Funeral services for Lorence (Goldy) C. Goldsmith, 79, were held in Faith Lutheran church, Mesa, Ariz., May 1. Burial was in Green Acres cemetery at Mesa.

A native of Clarence, he moved to Arizona in 1929. He was a hydrology analyst for the Salt River Project for 35 years, retiring in 1971. He was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, Phoenix; Faith Lutheran church and the church choir.

He is survived by his wife, Bertha; a daughter, Carla, a son, Gary; 4 grandchildren; a brother, Marvin W. Goldsmith and a sister, Wilma Schroeder, both of Clarence.
