Funeral services for Mrs. William (Madge I.) Eggert, 87, were held at the Sheets and Son Funeral home Sept. 14 with Elder W. H. Patsel officiating. Burial was in Inland cemetery. Ruth Riedesel was organist. Pallbearers were Norris Gronert, LaVerne and Ray Jepson, Warren and Steve McQuillen and Jerry Oellrich.

Mrs. Eggert died at the home of her son, Earl, Tipton, Sept. 11.

The daughter of Elmer and Mary Stutler McQuillen, she was born at Bennett Oct. 21, 1896 and was educated in the rural schools. She was married to William Eggert at Tipton Nov. 14, 1912. A homemaker, she spent her life in the Bennett area. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church.

She is survived by 4 sons, Earl, Tipton; Wilbur, Phoeniz, Ariz.; Francis, Bennett and William Allen, Springville; a daughter, Mrs. Howard (Lois) Berodt, Temple Hills, Md.; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Peter (Irma) Oellrich, Robins and a brother, Elmer McQuillen, Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and 2 brothers.
