Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence (Mary Ellen) Bush, 90, were held at United Methodist church March 25 with Dr. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Bob Reeve, Verlon Weaver, Wes Marquett, George Thordsen, Jim Lyle and Dick Moon. Sylvia Gould was organist.

Mrs. Bush died at Cedar Manor March 22.

The daughter of WIlliam D. and Mary Jane Baker Simmons, she was born near Tipton Sept. 2, 1893. She attended the Tipton schools. She was married to Clarence Jack Bush in Tipton Aug. 1, 1913.

A lifetime resident of the Tipton area, she was a member of First United Methodist church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Mrs. Bush is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Herzfeld, Powell, TN and Mrs. Helen Nachtreib, Poncha Springs, CO; a son, Richard W.; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, 4 brothers and 5 sisters.
