Funeral services for Mrs. Burdette (Millicent) Hoffman were held at the West Branch United Methodist church, Dec. 31 with burial in the West Branch cemetery.
Mrs. Hoffman died at a West Branch nursing home Dec. 29, following a long illness.
The daughter of Dennis and Laura Shaw Boylen, she was born in Calamus Sept. 15, 1901. She was married to F. B. Burdette Hoffman in Nashua in September, 1928.
She was a member of the West Branch United Methodist church, Eastern Star, Carnation club and the LAL club of West Branch.
She is survived by her husband, 2 sons, Bruce, West Branch and Jack, Minneapolis: 4 grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary Anderson, Davenport. Four brothers preceded her in death.
