Funeral services for Mrs. Dorothy Anderson, 78, were held at the West Branch Methodist church Dec. 18 with the Rev. Max E. Paige officiating. Burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson died at a West Branch care center Dec. 16.

The daughter of Alan and Eva Patterson Bailey, she was born at Barnesville, Ohio Nov. 17, 1897 and was married to William B. Anderson in Barnesville Oct. 10, 1914.

She was a member of the West Branch United Methodist church and a past member of Juanita chapter of the Eastern Star and the Priscilla club.

She is survived by 2 sons, Robert, Marshalltown and William, San Diego and 6 grandchildren. Her husband died in 1974.
