Last rites for Mrs. Eva Argo, 83, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home, Sept. 15, with the Rev. Dale Marshall officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Moore, Russell Wethington, Jack Reeve, Max Nebergall, W. F. Rismiller and Leonard Dice. Mrs. Kenneth Gould was organist and Mrs. Everett Von Muenster was vocalist.

Mrs. Argo was dead on arrival at Mercy hospital, Iowa City, Sept. 11, after suffering a heart attack at her home in Tipton.

The daughter of Edward and Laura Winters Shoestall, she was born at Tipton, Nov. 9, 1891 and was educated in the Tipton schools. She was married to Verne E. Argo at Cedar Rapids, Oct. 10, 1908.

A lifelong resident of Tipton, she was of the Presbyterian faith.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Dorothy E. Argo, and Mrs. Helen E. Woods, Long Beach, Calif. She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and a granddaughter.
