Last rites for Mrs. Vernon (Lorraine E.) Lintz, 55, Davenport, a native of Cedar county, were held in Davenport May 7. Burial was at Shawver cemetery, Cedar Bluff.

Mrs. Lintz died at Mercy hospital, Davenport May 4, following a long illness.

Born in Cedar county she was married to Vernon Lintz in Arkansas in 1954. She was employed as a clerk at the Iowa Employment service, Davenport.

She is survived by her husband, a son, William R. Hendricks, Davenport; a daughter, Mrs. Jim (Connie) Hoskins, Davenport; her mother, Mrs. Gladys Anderson, Tipton; a sister, Mrs. Lauren Lenker, Wilton and 4 brothers, Roger Anderson, Moline, Ill.; Russell and Sherman Anderson, Tipton and Roscoe Anderson, Bennett.
