Funeral services for William Fred Hamann, 91, Durant, were held at the Frick Funeral home, Durant, Feb. 13 with the Rev. L. Jack Ehlers officiating. Burial was in the Durant cemetery. Mr. Hamann died at a West Branch Nursing home, Feb. 10.

The son of Henry C. and Amelia Reins Hamann, he was born in Cedar county, Nov. 9, 1893. He was married to Emma Glaser in Davenport, Nov. 24, 1908. A retired farmer, Mr. Hamann spent his life in the Durant area.

He is survived by a son, Gilbert, Stanwood; a sister, Mabel Hamann, Durant, 2 grandsons and 3 great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and a sister.
