Last rites for Mrs. Irma R. Crawford, 76, were held at First Methodist church, Dec. 30, with Dr. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tom Ehresman, Ronald Murrison, Phillip Schilling, Howard Murrison, Marvin Schilling, Charles Glidden. Mrs. Sylvia Gould was organist.

Mrs. Crawford died at the Henry County Memorial hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Dec. 27 following a short illness.

The daughter of Daniel M. and Flora A. Hayward Gillett, she was born at Harlan Oct. 12, 1898 and was educated in the Harlan schools.

She was married to Forrest G. Baker, July 6, 1921. Following his death she married Charles C. Crawford, Feb. 16, 1935.

A Tipton resident since 1933, she taught piano and organ in Tipton for many years and was organist in the Methodist church.

She was a member of First United Methodist church, the Order of the Eastern Star at Wilton and the Helping Hand Rebekah lodge, Tipton.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Crawford, Cedar Rapids; 2 sons, Forrest G. Baker, Jr., Dallas, Texas and John C. Crawford, Mt. Pleasant, 3 step-daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Norine) Schilling, Clarence; Mrs. Howard (Eva Lu) Murrison, Tipton and Mrs. Charles (Edith) Glidden, Cedar Rapids, 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands and 2 sisters.
