Funeral services for Mathilda Bossow, 76, were held at the Dye Funeral home Dec. 28 with Dr. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial was in Van Horn cemetery. Terri Thompson was vocalist and Mrs. Kenneth Gould organist.

Pallbearers were Carl Mitzner, Herman Hass, Lowell Horn, Harry Gerber, Ben Schroeder and John Dickinson. Services were held by the Rebekah lodge.

Miss Bossow died at University hospitals, Iowa City, Dec. 25.

The daughter of Joe and Dorothea Hinke Bossow, she was born in Springfield township, Sept. 22, 1898. She was a lifetime resident of Cedar county and worked as a housekeeper.

She was a member of First Methodist church, the Philathean Sunday school class, the Rebekah lodge and the Senior Citizens group in Tipton.

She is survived by 6 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
