Funeral services for Mrs. Ida E. Von Roden, 80, were held at Peace United Christ of Christ, Bennett, Aug. 12 with the Rev. Calvin Schumacher officiating. Burial was in Inland cemetery.

Pallbearers were LeRoy Kemmann, Richard, Dwaine and Harlan Meyer, Gary Schlueter and Robert Schweitzer. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Riedesel provided music.

Mrs. Von Roden died at Colorado Springs, Colo. Aug. 8.

The daughter of Fred and Emma Clasing Schlueter, she was born at Bennett Jan. 21, 1894 and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar county. She was married to William Von Roden Dec. 2, 1914 at Bennett.

She had been living with her daughter in Colorado Springs for 15 years. She is a former member of Peace United Church of Christ.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William (Arlene) Rieger, Colorado Springs; 2 grandchildren and 2 sisters, Mrs. Meta Meyer, Tipton and Mrs. Anna Kemmann, Clarence.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a sister and 2 brothers.
