Last rites for Lars F. Larson, 66, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home July 16 with the Rev. O. J. Jorgenson officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wayne and Curtis Chapman, Clarence Kern, Don Whitlatch, Walter Eilers and Harold Wentzel. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist.

Mr. Larson died at his home in Tipton July 13.

The son of Halvor and Bertha Falk Larson, he was born at Jewell and attended the Jewell public schools and Morningside college. He was a plumber in Tipton for more than 40 years.

He was married to Fern A. Gay in Peoria, Ill. Oct. 10, 1933. He served in World War II. He was a member of the Lutheran church.

He is survived by 3 sisters, Mrs. Nellie J. Fox, Jewell; Mrs. Lena Claus, and Mrs. F. H. (Bessie) Kastens, Santa Monica, Calif. and 4 brothers, Christian F., John H. and Royal G., all of Jewell and Holly, Brainard, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1973 and 2 sisters.
