Funeral services for Mrs. Freda Hinkhouse, 80, were held at the Gill Memorial home in Wilton, Feb. 26, with the Rev. G. W. Ukena officiating. Burial was in the Sharon cemetery.

Pallbearers were Frank Hansen, Curtis Frymoyer, Donald Grunder, Freeman Kaufmann, George Kiser and Melvin Hansen. Mrs. Freeman Kaufmann, Mrs. George Kiser and Mrs. Frank Hansen had charge of flowers.

Mrs. Hinkhouse died at Muscatine General hospital Feb. 23 following an illness of 2 weeks.

The daughter of Sven Alfred and Matilda Helena Anderson Swenson, she was born near Evansville, Minn., Dec. 22, 1893 and was educated in the rural schools of Douglas county, Minnesota.

She was married to E. D. Hinkhouse at Wilton Sept. 3, 1924. She had been a resident of Sugar Creek township since her marriage.

She was a member of the Wilton Presbyterian church, its Ladies Aid and a former member of the NNC club and the Sugar Creek township Farm Bureau Women.

She is survived by a son, John, Wilton, a daughter, Mrs. Herbert (Ruth) Clark, Tipton; 5 grandchildren and a sister, Pheobe Swenson, Evansville, Minn. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1962, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
